Who we are

CAN Design Studio (“we”, “us”) is a creative and branding agency based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Information you give us

The only form on this website that collects personal information is our contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number
• your company name, if you provide one
• the budget range you select
• the service you are enquiring about
• the message you write

This information is sent to us as an email. It is not written to a database and it is not stored on this website. It stays in our email account, where we use it solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to manage that relationship.

If you apply for a role, you email us directly at info@can.com.co. We handle those applications and any CV you attach in the same way — by email, for recruitment only.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used for security and troubleshooting.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how people arrive, and which countries they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address. We use it only in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally.

Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your own browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

Third-party services on this site

Some parts of this site are provided by other companies. When your browser loads them, it contacts those companies directly and they will see your IP address. They are:

• Google Analytics — visitor statistics, on all pages.
• Google reCAPTCHA — protects our contact form from automated spam. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply.
• Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used across the site.
• Elfsight — displays our Google reviews on the Reviews page.
• rrdevs.net — hosts one background video used on the Life at CAN page.

Where we show YouTube video thumbnails, these are static images only — no YouTube player is embedded, so YouTube does not set tracking cookies through this site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the relationship they relate to, and for any period we are required to keep business records under Indian law. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ own retention settings.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to ask us what personal data of yours we hold, to have it corrected or completed, to have it erased, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. You may also raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR / EU GDPR gives you further rights, including access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email design@can.com.co. We will respond as quickly as we can, and within any period the applicable law requires.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising cookies of its own. Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though the contact form may not submit if reCAPTCHA is blocked.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professional enquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
